This turn of the century home in the Washington Park neighborhood of Denver was in need of updating. It had a small closed off kitchen without any windows. The design focused on opening up the kitchen to the dining area and creating a more updated transitional style. We restored the original window opening which had been closed up to maximize daylight. We removed the kitchen wall to allow for a peninsula. We installed new semi-custom cabinetry, Richlite countertop, and rubber flooring.
