This is the second location for the great Argentinian bakery Maria Empanada, located in Greenwood Village at the Belleview Promenade. For this space, we used a large curved architectural wood screen element to add architectural interest and to both bring the scale down and warm up the space. The extra large sun mural, depicting the Argentina symbol on the flag, artfully fills up the wall as you enter the space.

For this project we were thrilled to bring two great talented friends on board to collaborate on the project. Chris (www.gebhartstudio.com) brought his expertise with tenant improvement work, while Marcel of 641West Design brought his experience with design to fabrication of complex geometries out of wood and steel.
