Krisana Park Carport & Entry

Our client in Krisana Park asked for a carport that would look cohesive with her mid-century home.
The challenge was that the original carport had been filled in decades ago with living space, so we were working with very little extra space on the lot.
We approached the design with the neighborhood’s original spirit in mind, continuing the home’s roofline and rhythm to create a structure that feels like it’s always belonged.
We extended the existing roofline, carried through the material palette, and aligned structural elements to create a clean, low-profile carport addition that blends seamlessly with the original architecture. The main entry is also enhanced with a dedicated walk to the front door and a lovely modern pergola that provides filtered light. A vertical slat screen wall gives some privacy when a vehicle is parked, and an outdoor closet provides the homeowner some much-needed storage for garden tools and an EV charger.
The result is a simple yet intentional structure that adds everyday function without compromising the home’s character or curb appeal.
We are excited to work with Alex of Honeycomb Construction on this project!
