There has been progress on our project!  For those of you who have visited our website & are wondering why we haven't updated our blog...photos of framing are difficult to make sense of, almost every exterior wall has been modified in some way, and we have a large mountain of dirt in the front yard.  At this point all the windows and most of the glass have been installed and there is quite a bit of natural light now. We just had a steel frame fabricated on site for the front façade.  This frame will support additional glass via thin mullions (similar to storefront) and provide visual access to the front yard. We have kept the gable-end clerestory window and the vertical slot window of the original homes, while adding a large glass panel for more interest and light. 

New opening out to the front.  Sam and Jake from Corvus Design Build are fabricating the steel frame for new glass panels out to the front.

This will be our office very soon!  Lots of glass but there will be a sizable overhang right outside to protect us from all that sunshine from the west.
